The 1 kb DNA Ladder is a ready-to-use molecular weight marker that can be used to determine the size of DNA fragments on gel electrophoresis. It contains 13 distinct DNA fragments that range in length from 250 bp to 10,000 bp.
The Solis BioDyne 1 kb DNA Ladder Ready to Load is designed for sizing and approximate quantification of double-stranded DNA in the range of 250 bp to 10,000 bp. It comes with two visualization dyes and thirteen crisp bands that remain stable at room temperature.
Thirteen DNA fragments (in base pairs) make up the Solis BioDyne 1 kb DNA Ladder Ready to Load: 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000, 10000. It contains two reference groups (1000 and 3000 bp) for simple direction.
There are two dyes in it: During agarose gel electrophoresis, bromophenol blue and xylene cyanole are used as a visual aid to track the progression of migration.
