Description
- Selective medium for the isolation of Salmonella and Shigella species. It was also developed to aid in the differentiation of lactose and non-lactose-fermenters from clinical specimens, suspected foods, and other such samples
- Dissolve 63.00gms in 1000ml of distilled water.
- Gently heat to boiling with gentle swirling and dissolve the medium completely.
- DO NOT AUTOCLAVE.
- Cool to 45 – 50°C and distribute into sterile petri plates.
